Angry 1991 GP ignition problems

I have a 1991 gp, 3.1 litre with 210,000 on it, and now i start having problems. Lets start with what i have replaced and then go from there:
Coolant temp sensor 2 times(second time for just in case measure)
o2 sensor
ignition module 4 times
halifax sensor
new catalytic converter

Here is the problem: When the car gets upto temp or has been running for about 5 minutes it shuts off. No warning lights, nothing. Now it does hesitate a little at first but i had trouble noticing it. Now I can tell you by the hesitation when it is going to die. So what have you all got for me?

Im completely baffled by this one. I also have a OBD 1 computer and it doesnt say that anything is wrong but then again i dont know all of the voltage information. So right now i have a car that dies after hesitating and throws no codes. HELP!!!

Re: 1991 GP ignition problems

I don't know what you are talking about when you say the halifax sensor! The one thing that I would change is the crank position sensor. This will cause the exact symptoms you speak of. The only other thing that I could think of that would cause it would be a bad ECM.

Don't feel alone GTP Dad. lol. He probably meant Hall Effects sensor but we like to hear and understand crankshaft position sensor (CKPS) or the camshaft position sensor (CPS) in the forum in order to provide the appropriate assistance.
