1995 Windstar Missfire
Hello i Have a 1995 Windstar that is setting a P0301 Code which is Cyl. # 1 missfire but cyl # 1 seems to be working fine the problem is Cyl. # 6 six has any one had this problem before and also it has good spark at the plug but makes no RPM drop difference when Wire removed or injector unpluged.

Have you tried listening to the injector "click" through a short length of hose?

Have you cleaned your egr ports. I have found that a missfire on #1 or #4 there is a good chance it is your egr ports. Under the upper intake. Is that the only code you have.

Yes that is the only code i am getting from the scanner the strange thing is that its seem to be Cyl. # 6 missfiring

oh and by the way it has great compression 175psi.

Update
Found a electrical shor at Injector #6 that is making the cyl. flood has anyone encountered that problem before and does anybody have an electrical diagram for the fuel injection system

How did you find the short I have a miss on #6 and it seems to be flooding, plug is black (carboned up).
