What was your worst job?

We all had our experiences with shitty jobs. Mine would have to be Harveys Fast Food restaurant (for all you Canadians). It was such a bullshit fucking job. It was ghetto too. There would be one person working the grill/fryers. And there were no monitors to record the order like Mcdonalds and Burger King has. So if you need to review your previous order, you can't. Everything was announced through a speaker and you had to remember everything. Doing grill was the hardest and shittiest part of working in that hell hole. I would not go back even if they offered me 20$ per hour.

Working for "Cockrum's GolfCarts" - All I did was dangerous bullshit. Got paid under the counter for a few weeks to weedwack this damned ditch with a hand sickle, and then later I got upgraded to a shitty weedwhacker that was continuously getting electrical wires caught in it, as well as disturbing angry hornets nests. I pretty much lived in this area of piles of shitty broken golf carts, with standing water, and misquitos spawning, and old pipes and shit filled with wasps, and big stinky ditches and patches that I had to weedwack / pull. The boss was a jackass and eventually "laid me off" thank god. Wut a tool.

When I was 14, got a paper route... hated the shit out of it because it was a morning route, had to get up at 4:30am... I'm NOT a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, and getting me out of bed is like washing a cat.

Needless to say, after about 6 months I got fired for being late all the time.

When I was 16 needed a job so my friend hooked me up at Dairy Queen. Minimum wage, working 9-10 hour days, getting out at 11pm-12 on school nights. We had a 2 man crew running the entire store in the mall on busy ass weekends, than we had to shut down and clean up (mopping floors and scrubbing the tiles with bleach until your hands were raw and burning). Do all the dishes, dissemble the machines for hours.Than the manager would come in and bitch that it wasn't clean enough. I quit after 2 months of that bullshit.

My worst job was also my first. I worked for a kennel. That was really bad...minimum wage horible hours. Not to mention all the dog bites. I've been bit by more golden retrievers and labs than all the rest of the dogs put together. We also had to deal with straight bleach which gave me hives after a while, that made things fun. There were also absolutely no benefits of working there, no employee discount of any kind, hell she's prolly charge us extra. Then there was cleaning up dog shit...that didn't do much for me either.

Yeah mine was working for a Vet when I was 14. I had to clean all the cages, feed animals, walk dogs, mop floors, do laundry+dishes, clean up after vets and all sorts of other shit. It was like $6.50NZ an hour that's like -$75US

Washing dishes for a deli at minimum wage. I was only 14, and I was at least making money, so I didn't complain too much.

when i was 15 i got a job as a dish washer in this restarant. Worst fuckin job ever, the boss only had one dish washer working at a time. I had to work my fuckin ass off for 7 hours straight to keep up with the dishes coming in, no fucking break, no fucking lunch and to top it all off the boss would come in and talk shit to me saying i was doing the job good enough or fast enough. I quit after a couple months didnt give any notice, and i bitched out the boss. It was my first job and i was a mouthy little guy then, i was like fuck you, fuck this job, you're a piece of shit and i'm never coming back again. Hahah that felt so good, i'm glad i burnt that bridge.

Needless to say i didnt work for 3 years after that cause i thought this working thing isnt for me. My dad, mad blue collar immigrant workaholic, hated me for it. But i just made money other ways, i had a 70 gram gold chain in grade 11!! 10k but it was nice. At that point in my life, i was thinking i was never gunna work again.

The one that sucked the worst was laying sod during the summer. Sitting out in the heat of mid-south georgia during the summer in the middle of the afternoon laying sod for hours on end, man that was fun! Sunburns and sore backs are great. At least the boss would get us wasted every day after work, even though I was only about 15 at the time.
