Question removing stock cd player

how do i remove the dash in my 99 gp gt to get to my stock cd player and remove it

The dash panel just pops off. Its held on with clips. You will have to unplug the foglight switch when u pull the dash panel off. The radio is held in by 3 7mm screws. Hope this helps.

the whole drivers side of the dash and the center console are one solid piece, so be careful removing it so you don't break it in half

Is this the same for the 2004 as well, it appears to be a little different, I was hoping I didn't have to remove the entire dash

the first time i did it, it took me like 20 mins just to pop it off cause i thought i was gonna break it lol. start at one side and work your way around and just be careful not to lose any of the clips. mine have a tendency to slip off!
