2.2 block compatalbilty?

can I use a block from a 2.2 12v(626,probe) motor in a b2200 ?

626 Engine

Yes the shortblock in the 12v Mazda 626, MX6, and Ford Probe are all the same as the B2200. The difference is the accessories, Head and manifolds are different. People often use the exhaust manifold from the turbo models to turbo their B22.
