Rear Windows Have Child Safety Feature...Is there any way to turn this off??

Was wondering if there was a way to make the windows roll down all the way?? I realize that it has a child safety feature..I have seen some Tahoes with their windows rolled all the way down.. I have a '97 and a '99 Tahoe...{We love Tahoes!!}

Any one else address this issue before??

No they cant go down anymore because of the wheel well.

Wheel well? Our Tahoe's are 4 door and have a normal sized rear passenger doors with plenty of room to roll down. It stops less than halfway down.

I have seen others about the same year w/windows rolled all the way down....

Ummm, i have a 4 door tahoe as well and the rear doors are NOT full size. Suburbans DO have the full size rear doors. Go look at your tahoe rear doors, open the door, look at the size of the window and come back and tell me how on earth it's possible to get the window to go all the way down without the glass bumping into the curved part of the door where it meets the wheel well.

There is no way the window could go down all the way due to the curve in the door.

Ok, my bad..I guess it must be Suburbans that I see that have their rear windows rolled down. That's why I asked here.....
