HVAC Control Knobs

[97 Prix]

The knob that selects Vent position is broken due to old age. The junk yards want $40 bucks for the whole control unit. Pontiac wants over $100. Anybody know where or how I can acquire just a new knob? I have a 97 Grand Prix SE 3.1 V6 w/tanish brown interior.

I bought just the knob from the dealer for 10 bucks for my 01. Are knobs no longer available for your year?

I don't think he means the knob. I think he means the "pod" which the knob attaches to.
What year do you have? Daul or standard?
The "knob" you can get at any GM dealer for around $8.00.
I seen them on Ebay, under GTP a lot.
