Talking Ferrari customer demands refund

German businessman Joerg Winterberg is either spoiled or trying to commit suicide. The 60 year-old recently purchased a top-of-the-line Ferrari Challenge Stradale and now he wants a refund… He’s miffed because the vehicle doesn’t actually reach the advertised 186 mph top speed – it ONLY goes to 175 mph. Winterberg states: "I could have bought a Porsche for far less and still had the same performance. I want my money back." Ferrari insists there is nothing wrong with the car and refuses to issue a refund.

Serves him right for not buying a GT3RS

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

and then ferrari engineers would tell you all about how car engines work and show you up for being the brainless twat that you are.

still, i would've gone with the GT3RS as well.

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

well if your paying almost 200,00 dollars for a car, wouldnt you want it to meet exactly what the company says it will do....if they say it will do 186 mph, then it should

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

even though such things such as air temperature/density, condition of engine oil, condition of engine, tyre conditions, wind conditions, road conditions etc, etc all play a part on how fast it can go?

chances are, the car can go 186 mph.
it's just the guy can't get it to happen.

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

You aren't supposed to need a tailwind and downhill to hit top speed are you?

I that case, my acccord is faster than it should be

on a serious note drunken monkey is quite correct. There are many factors affecting a car's speed.

Yeah, we had a guy complain that his SLR wasn't fast enough as well. I'm not sure how much faster you need a car to be for street driving.
