94 auto tranny leaks

I noticed tranny fluid on the floor of my garage!! I hate leaks so since I've been around a wrench or two I decided that this problem had to be remedied!! I bought a new seal and dropped the transfer case popped out the rear tranny seal with a seal puller (buy this tool if you are currently using a screwdriver!!!)to my surprise someone had already been there. They used a screwdriver and put a huge gouge in the bottom part of the case. So the seal is not the problem it's the moron that removed the one before me. So how do I fix this canyon in the case? I have an idea I just wanted to bounce this off you all.

Thanks in advance!

Dennis

There is always JB Weld. It's the redneck way, but it works up to 3,500 psi I believe.
