Radiator fan not working

Is there a way to put power to the fan to check if the fan is bad and not a sensor. Car overheats and fan does not come on. 2001 Golf 2.0

Turn car on, turn ac on full.. if both fans dont come on then its the fan control module under battery.

If fans do come problably needs to replace radiator thermoswitch.

Have you replaced your waterpump and thermostat recently? Faulty waterpumps cause car to overheat, same with thermostat sticking.
