G20 newbie needing some advice
I just got a 93 G20 and i'm loving it. Two questions though .. kinda related. I've noticed some pretty decent road noise in the rear of the car. Is this common?? If so, what can be done to "quiet" the noise? My other question is what are the best tires for the G20 for a smooth ride and little road noise?
Thanks to everyone for replying. -Scoony |

Welcome.
Dynamat or some other sound absorbing material in the trunk may help you with the road noise. As for best tires, that's subjective. I'd say go to www.tires.com and www.tirerack.com for a good idea on what tires to get.

My G20 is a poretty quiet car. I would check your wheel bearings and tires to see if that is where the problem is.

I've had this problem with a P11.
Previously running Pirelli's on the front. These generated quite a lot of road noise. Now changed to Dunlop and it's all quietened down. They handle pretty well, too (which suprises me for Dunlop). |
