I have a 94 f150 and the starter went out. Replaced the starter and still won't start put new battery cables on and still just clicks. Cables are really warm after trying to start. I don't have a clue what is wrong. Please help. Thanks, OX

Starter solenoid is out.

This truck has a solenoid on the body and on the starter. The one on the starter is activated by the one on the body and is all clicking when I try to start it. the motor is activated by the extension of the soleniod on the starter. Still I am clueless.

I should be more specific.... replace your fender wall solenoid.

i have a 2003 f150 4.6 v8 it just wont start i tried boost nothing if i hit starter it will start is it the starter or solonoid
