Motor Swap

If this question has been asked before I apologize

Does anybody know how hard it would be to put a late model 6.0L V8 into a 91 Suburban 3/4 ton 4wd? Would it bolt up or is there a plate made to go between the transmission and motor to make it work?

Getting it to bolt up would be the least of your worries. you would need a new computer and harness. Not to mention a few sensors to add. It would be a costly swap.

Re: Motor Swap

The transmission bolt pattern is the same on the engine block, but I would check the flywheel bolt pattern. Also you would need a reverse flow radiator and make sure the oil pan will clear the front differential housing.
