92 Lumina Fast idle problem, starting problem
I have a 92 Lumina with approx. 110K miles. The idle is fast about 1000-1100 RPM. The computer is not throwing off any codes. Also car is difficult to start when hot, but starts fine when cold. I don't know if these problems are related but I was thinking it could be the idle control motor? And perhaps the starting issue is another problem. Any thoughts? TIA.

Re: 92 Lumina Fast idle problem, starting problem
I would agree that the culprit is the IAC motor. They can get stuck and not trip a code, but cause poor performance when warm and a high idle
