I replaced my radiator on my Grand Marquis last week. Afterward, when I started it up, It was making a clicking noise behind the dash. (During the radiator replacement, I did disconnect the battery). A few days later, the clicking stopped and now the vents only blow hot air.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have electronic climate control, and the vents do blow for the defroster, vents and floor when selected. |

Re: Tapping Sound Quit On 96 Grand Marquis and Now the Vents Blow Only Hot Air
there is a motor that changes the temp positions - the position sensor goes bad causing the noise - after a while the motor fails all together - and good luck changing it - it's not so fun
