warn hubs

I have an 87 burb 4 wheel drive. I have Warn Hubs. I need to replace a rotor. I have removed the hub assembly and snap ring. But the rest won't come out. I have not started to pry poke or beat. What am I missing to get this to remove. It was dark when I finally shut down last night. I knew if I posted here, someone would know what to do. The hubs are new, just put on by my mechanic last year. He's to busy to do the job. Knows I can do it.
