95 Anti lock working?

Hi, I was driving my 95 today and had to hit the brakes hard, and the rears Locked up. Does this van have 4 wheel anti lock? The Light comes on as it should when i start it, and then turns off. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: 95 Anti lock working?

common problem with these vans as they get older, the rear brake dust builds up inside the drum and causes the rears to get grabby and occasionally lock up. The only fix is to remove the rear tires and drums and clean out the dust. Look for any wetness, as leaky wheel cylinders are also common. If the brake dust appears moist, you might as well replace the wheel cylinders and the shoes, as brake fluid ruins the friction material in the shoes.
