Question

A/C Compressor electrical

My '95 Intrepid A/C compressor clutch has a one-wire pigtail.
Can I replace compressor with one that has a two-wire pigtail? If so, do I splice into the black wire or the white wire? The white wire goes thru a resistor of some sort.

Solved my own problem! Swapped clutches. A/C works great.
