Heck yeah! I love that American-car hating show.

I really do though, funny as hell. Even when they do rig drag races so vettes lose

Yeah what was all that about? The guy driving the Vette looked like he kinda stumbled it off the line on purpose.

They ragged on the suspension and 'shotty' build quality, but it still ran a damn respectable time on their track with the Stig driving. Shotty or not, fast is fast.

Re: Top Gear in the States (Discovery)

In a real drag race the vette would have destroyed all those cars and we all know that. The Brits just had to save face. You know what's funny tho...whenever I see auto shows that are american produced they never fictionalize any cars, even when comparing to foreign cars. Me thinks the Brits have some sort of a "car" complex going on.

But you fail to see some of the beauty of this show, the disagreements. True Clarkson made fun of it, but we get to see Richard's side of the story too loved it.

If you get to see the show in its entirety as i've been watching it for a while you'll really start to apreciate it. IMO it is the best TV show out there.

Oh I know they have their disagreements. And that Richard liked it even though he thought the suspension was a bit rough. It's a great show with far more imagination than anything out there.

I mean, Apache vs Lotus... I laughed my ass off at that. So cool, especially when the air lifted the Lotus up and spat it almost off the track. That was great.

Yeah that is one thing they don't miss carzy imagination, keeps the show very entretaining. Heck even my roomates who are not gearheads love the show in itself.

Also some people heer complained they hate amrican cars. That is false, sometimes it seems that way because they are not afraid of speaking their minds, but the fact is they love some emarican cars. Clarkson loved the viper to death and he bought a Ford GT, Richard bought a 69 hemi charger and he loved the vette.

I say that is proof enough they do not hate amrican cars.

The caravan toss should be an Olympic sport.

THAT would make me sit down and watch that boring shit once every four years. Heh.

So...

...who else is watching right now...

...and is dreaming of lottery winnings...

...for a chance to drive that Koenigsegg they're testing?

Sick, SICK, car.

And it's not even the 800-bhp version they're testing.
