98 Altima dash lights are not working

Over the weekend, my dashboard lights no longer work with the headlights on.

The radio (w/CD player) lights work until I turn on the headlights and then that light goes out, but the radio continues to play.

I've checked every fuse (under the steering wheel & under the hood) and they all look fine. Are there any other fuses?

Check all your turnsignal and running lights front and rear. Look for a double filliment bulb that has one filliment burned out and jumped over connecting to the other filliment.

I had to take the dash apart and clean the contacts for the instrument panel with spray electrical cleaner. then it worked has for the last few months.

Wow! My wife's car has the same problem. TY guys!! I will try these two recommendations.
