please help me with my 91 crx
I recently got a 91 crx si the guy i got it from said the motor was froze up. after pulling the spark plugs i found the cylinders were hydro locked with fuel. After turning it over with plugs removed it pumped the fuel out and after installing new plugs i got it to fire barely. It poured out black smoke and raw fuel out the exhaust and when you turn on the key the fuel pump doesn't seem like it shuts off it just keeps pumping. This is my first honda car and I dont even really know a good place to start. I checked the codes and all it shows is a 16 which should be a fuel injecor but I checked them with a ohm meter and they all checked out ok. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance Eric

injector must be stuck open if its filling up the combustion chamber. id say try to get your hands on another set of injectors. or atleast take each out, clean them real well and recheck each injector and the harness with a dvom

Yeah, It sounds like an injector is stuck or the injector pulse is messed up. Also check your fuel return line and fuel pressure regulator.

Last night i got another set of injectors and a fuel pressure regulator from work i installed the regulator and it didn't change but before i got to the injectors it started raining. i checked the ohms of the old injectors and they were ok but you said to check the harness what should i check it at and what should it read i cant find anything on that. also what is the best way of checking the return line? thanks for the help I am really looking foward to driving this car and it's a bummer just looking at it everyday without driving it.
