Unhappy 99 Century P0341 error code, newbie

My 99 century 99 v6's "Service Engine Soon" light was on a week ago. Had the code "P0341" pulled out in Autozone indicating Camshaft position sensor problem. Then I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery terminal and drove it to/from work the second day. The light went off afterwards. It remained off until yesterday. It is on again. (I guess the code would be the same, anyway I'll have it pulled again.)

It seems that I have to replace camshaft position sensor. I have factory manual which gives very brief instructions like, uninstall serpentine belt, pull sensor out, push sensor in, something like that. Actually it does not work that way. I think the power steering fluid reservoir needs to be removed before you can access the sensor. Am I correct? Do I also have to remove serpentine belt?

Can anybody who replaced camshaft position censor before shed a light on this?

Thanks

That's about all there is to it. You may have to pull the coolant recovery jug to get to it. Just unplug the wire connector, undo one bolt, and pop out the sensor.

Thanks oldreese. I was trying to work it this holiday weekend. I found that I have to remove power steering reservoir as well as coolant jug to have access to it...
