Guess the Ferrari

This might be a toughie for some.

The engine size, when rounded off, is actually 1/10 of a liter bigger than it's name suggests (number). Which Ferrari is it?

Come on, give us a bit more, I saerched forever, learned much about the naming system, and found at least 15 Ferraris with decieving names, but most were Pretty accurate except the 512 BBi which actually had a 4.9L engine. I couldn't find anything with an overstated displacement size though.

I was hoping you were going to say like "It's a V-8" rather than it being right in front of me. Oh well.

1984 Ferrari 288 GTO, the engine is ferrari's 3.0 liter form the 308 GTS/GTSi models. Produces 400 BHp from two turbochargers and 2.855 liters of Italian ingenuity.

Rounded, as you said, the engine is actually one 1.5 355ml coke cans bigger than stated.

I win

Alright smarty pants, which 'Ferrari' is renowned for it's 2.4 V-6? It's easy come on.

OK smart ass, rounded, 2.855 = 2.9 liters. Name suggests 2.8 liters. I win. :o

Dino 246.

OK, here's another. What Ferrari model had the largest cylinder capacity? For a single cylinder, not the entire engine size.

I believe that its the 860 Monza: This car has the largest single cyllinder capacity of any Ferrari, 3.4 liters, or 857.9cc per cylinder

Yes?? No?? Yes??
