Ferrari F40 Tamiya
Hello again,
I show you here and old beginned WIP of Tamiya F40. I always loved that car. I still have a S27 kit of the "Igol" Race F40. I started detailling a little bit the engine, with differents nuts and bolts. ![]() I then began to "wire" the engine. I worked a little bit on the body by removing the plastic meshes everywhere and opened the closed louvers. I also detailled the nuts on the wheels by drilling them and inserting an home made stopper. This is a view from the engine under construction. A view of the interior, with seat belts added. Complete engine compartment. and finally two views of the almost finished car. Need to paint the black line inthe medium of the body, put the rearview mirrors and the "whipper" (is that the right name for essuie glace?) I'm really sorry for my bad english. Thanks for your comments and critics? Greetings, Jamme. |

)The kit looks good Jamme, is it really as orange as it appears or is that a trick of the light? |

No, its painted "Rosso Corsa" and the Orange shine is an unwanted trick of the light. Greetings, Jamme |

Looks awesome. I think the word you were looking for is "wiper" as in windshield wipers?

Superb work, well detailed. The F40 is a sweet looking car, a real pedigree in the exotic sports car world and this model looks great, the engine especially.
