lt1 to ls1 swap for 4th gen

Is it possible to swap a LS1 engine for my LT1? Is it a hard job? I have a 94 Z28 auto. Thanks.

Re: lt1 to ls1 swap for 4th gen

for the average home mechanic and no lifts and other guys to help you...its very hard. To get the engine out through the hood is a very hard trick because its not supposed to happen. Your supposed to drop the engine and the k member and lift the car up. Not fun and very hard to do by yourself. That is what was disappointing to me about the fourth gen. Its just so hard to work on. Still a sweet car
