Unhappy Car overheating....help!

Alright here's what happened.....
I just got my car out of the body shop today because i got into an accident a couple of months ago and the front end was pretty banged up! So, it was finally fixed...

Anyway, after about 20mins of driving on the freeway the temperature starts creeping up to HOT! and smoke starts coming out the hood. After exiting the freeway i pull over and check it out, i had hot coolant leaking everywhere....so i don't know what it could be? I mean, i had plenty of coolant, about 2 inches past the maximum level (i know i know there was too much coolant) But could too much coolant be the problem for the overheating? What do you guys think?
Help me out!

Re: Car overheating....help!

First: The Fill line is your friend. Excess coolant will be pushed out the overflow tube.

Second: Did you burp the system?

Third: Any damage to the rad or hoses kinked after the accident?

Re: Car overheating....help!

There may be a block in the coolant system, like debris buildup or something, causing the coolant to backup and leak. Had that problem once, just drained and flushed.
