Anyone know a good twin tip exhaust?

Hey guys. I need recommendations for a twin tip exhaust that has three inch piping. My point is to make the car look as stock as possible, since the car is basically illegal anyway. Right now, I have a blitz NUR spec exhaust which has a great tone but is REALLY loud and obviously not stock.

Any suggestions?

Twin-tip? Most people will go with the Apexi Dual N-1's cuz they're good, stock looking, and one of the, if not, the quietest exhaust out there.

EDIT: Dont think its 3 inch but still good.

hmm saw this one 240 with a twin tip looking exhaust (pretty much like the stock twin tip exhaust on 240s) that look pretty stock just alittle bigger.he said it was a magnaflow exhaust.. not too sure. he said it was a 3"inch too.

Not to familiar with the Magnaflow and from what I know most of the guys on here won't or haven't endorsed the Magnaflow. The favorites are the Apexi N1 series, RSR ex-mag, and the Blitz minus the noise. But as far as twin-tip or dual, Apexi N1 is the favorite.

if your looking for quiet the greddy pe exhaust is quiet. But it doesnt look stock, it looks more like the Blitz

Apexi N1 Duals, its doesnt look to stock but its not loud at all. ive had it for two months with an N/a car and noone has bothered me

hmmm...i've heard of the N1 Dual exhaust. I've also run magnaflow on another car before....wasn't too impressed. Has anyone heard about the borla twin tip? The "hush" version i think it's called.

dude, the dual n1's are definetly not quiet, they are pretty loud, even with silencers. They don't look stock either, not as big as those single canisters, but two kinda of big pipes. I think it's a 3.25 inch, don't remember

How about running suctom 3" piping back to the existing muffler...and put a 3" pipe to the stock muffler problem solved.

doesn't that defeat the purpose of getting new exhaust? the stock muffler is hella small and restrictive... 3" to a 2.25" muffler would be pointless and probably lose power.. eh? although I got pulled over for my exhaust and the cop told me to do that, I laughed.

i think you would still see gains from any increase in piping size along the way. i cant see why you would lose power from it. im kinda curious to hear what that would sound like. 3 inch piping coming out of the stock tips. might be kinda cool.

for those that dont know the WR is an 80mm straight pipe with twin tips... it's loud as hell and if you dont have an Exhaust manifold your car will sound like a tractor... or even worse... a mitsubishi.


good twin tip... the JIC DE-II should work... although its titanium so its pretty pricey.
