Steering Noise

Hi, I have an 328ci, two days ago started a terrible noise and vibration when I turn left or right, I can feel it if I touch the high pressuare hose, that happens specially when the car is not moving, I visit the concesionare but they ask me to take out the power steering pump and check it, they are taking me about US$100 just to verifiy if it is or not, does any one have an idea about that problem?

I suppose you have checked the power steering oil is at the correct level,makes a horrible noise when steering if it is to low and air has got into the system.
