OK you gotta be a little knowledgable for this:

Find your ALDL (computer diagnostic port) short pin #1 to #4
or just ground pin #1

Insert key into ignition - OFF

Within 10 seconds, press hazard switch 6 times

Door should cycle 1 time (lock/unlock)

Press transmitter LOCK 1 time then within 10 seconds hit LOCK 2 times

for additional transmitters repeat above transmitter sequence.

Door locks will cycle on each registration of transmitter

your done...!

Re: programming keyless remote for galant

Yup, thats about the same instructions as I have. I did it with a paperclip with one end in each pin slot.

Re: Re: programming keyless remote for galant

A paper clip would work or wire? why does 1 go to terminal 4? has this worked for u? Once procedure complete, paper clip is removed right?

Thanks for your help

I use a paperclip, I think #1 is a ground, so you ground the #4 terminal and yes remove the paperclip when done
