Yeah its just a normal yellow. Tamiya do do a Pearl Yellow though.
Check out A_C's thread, he's used it on his Lambo. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=400760 Cheers Farrokh

Good luck getting the Pearl Yellow in the U.S. It's a match for the yellow on the Acura S2000. Never been imported for the U.S. market. Hopefully soon the Clear Pearl will ship and you can overcoat the Chrome Yellow with it... - Mark

TS Chrome Yellow is Tamiya's match for Porsche Speed Yellow.

Re: Tamiya Chrome Yellow
Yes, it is a solid yellow. Used it on my GT40, in different lighting conditions it seems to change form stark yellow to very orangey (if that is a word).

Re: Tamiya Chrome Yellow
Tamiya has TS-16 (yellow), TS-34 (camel yellow), TS-47 (chrome yellow) and TS-Pearl Yellow. All are solid yellow except the Pearl Yellow which was limited released with the Penzoil R34.

Re: Tamiya Chrome Yellow
Chad, I was originally going to use Camel Yellow until DFV posted some pics that showed Camel Yellow was too orange. I decided Chrome Yellow was the best option, still not sure if I did the right thing!
