95 maxima starting problem

i have a friend who has a 95 maxima and it doesnt start, it will only start if u jump it, but as soon as you turn the car off it dies again and u have to keep jumpin it to start it ,, i filled the battery with water and there is no currosion on the battery, so i have no clue what it is , when u turn the key all it does is click, thanks for the help

The batt should be charged, buy one charger 15$. General charger takes one day to fully charge the batt.

Start with that. If no start, throw batt away, buy new 40$.

Start with that. Check voltage before and on running engine, multimeter 8$. New batt voltage is 12.5V [minimum], charge voltage 13.8V[minimum]. If charge voltage is lower, clean all Alt connectors, DIY, see the problems here - clic on this page: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/5

If still no good charge voltage, replace Alternator.
