Confused...

OKay..Im confused..what are the horspower rating on the base 3000GT's over the years. Some websites say 161..some 222..so now Im confused. I though all BASE models where SOHC 161 and SL where DOHC 222. Sorry bout newb questiong but confusion is hurting my head.

This is all in teh FAQ.
All base Stealths had 161
Base 3000gts had 222 from 91-96
Then in 97-99 the GTs got the Stealth 161 SOHC engine.

91-93 VR4's came with 300 HP
94-99 VR4's came with 320 HP

You can make the 91-93 VR4's get to 320 with an easy (and free) mod to make it identical to the 94-99 VR4's. It's called the free boost mod. It's pretty easy to do as well.

OKay so im getting same power from a base then an SL..nice..im guessing SL's have little extras like antilock and stuff...hm..Well..im pretty much ready..i while back i wanted a VR4 but I reallized i cant afford that. I hope i dont get any bad feedback and get picked on..hmm..i think they are awesome

in generaly, 91-96 base and SL models are exactly the same, except the SL, in general, came with leather seats, sunroof, electronically controlled suspension, power drivers seat, cd changer stock, and maybe a couple other things in which the base did not, but, some base models have some of these options, except for like the ECS.
