I've got the 307/350TH in there, my friend has a fresh 350ci/400TH out of a 81-82 E350 van, will this go into my 73 nova custom without issues, or should I match the new 350ci with the current 350TH...Now the REAL question is will the 350 from that van even FIT? I'm looking to throw a new engine in there CHEAP and this is the best option if possible. Thanks! Oh, and where the hell do you find those people that always come up to your car saying they can do very cheap body work when you really need them...

The 350 will fit no problem. The TH350 trans will fit as long as it has the short tail shaft. Novas really work well with a 350/TH350 combo.

Sorry, I thought the van had a TH350. Yes the TH400 would fit but you may need a different drive shaft. I'd just bolt it up to the TH350 already in the car. Much easier that way and the TH350 is pretty reliable. Alot of people say otherwise but my buddy has a TH350 behind his 600+ horse 454 and has had no problems.
