mine did this and I found that it was a slightly broken solder contact in the main fuel relay under the dash near the fuse panel. what happens is that the solder gets cracked on one of the connections and loosenes up usually when it gets hot outside and in the car. this relay is tied into mostly everything on your car, ecu, sensors, etc and will cause the no start and poor performance.
Check that first. its the least expensive possibility and since I fixed it, no problem.
