PassKey II

Well....

I can't start my car.

Security light flashes at me when my key is in. Anyone else ever have a problem with their key?? Any idea how much GM charges for a new key??

BTW...1999 Trans Am. I figure it would be the same as the Camaros.

Maybe you put on something on your keychain that messes it up? I remember stuff like speedpass and crap like that will mess around with a sensor in an F150 but I dont know about Maros and Firebirds.

Re: PassKey II

Keychain consists of two keys and the keyfob. Door key and ignition key.

Those keys are normally just sitting on the table here. Oh well, probably just need GM to make me a new key.

Mr. Lous, you already got your what is 406, 402 block? Man, i gotta see this car in person. I saw Firehawk before, and it waas complelely badass. I like how pontiac went with the bird look for the firebird. Looking at it from the the front, they like exactly like falcons (98-02 anyways).

Re: PassKey II

Pull current motor, sell it.

I don't want to choke this 402, so I refuse to put it together without the heads I want. AFR 225's. Of course, those come at a heavy price. $1700 bare.
So basicly, I am down the heads, lifters, and seals and gaskets.
The true duals are another problem, but not too worried about those. Not that expensive for that.
