Turn Signals

I purshased a 2002 TB about 3 weeks ago and I did the outside turn signal mirror. When I completed it they worked .

I then replaced the headlights with silverstars and when I did I made sure they where working. When I did I also tried out the turn signals.

I noticed that when the signal under the head light was ON the signal beside the headlight (vertical signal) was OFF. These signal would alternate, when one was flashing other was off and visa versa.
Is this correct. With being only 3 weeks from the purshase I really do not know if that is the way they work or maybe I did something when I did the turn signal mirrors.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Turn Signals

Yes..
When your headlights are off, they flash together.
When your headlights are on, they alternate.

Re: Turn Signals

Thunderbolt2000, are you saying you replaced the SIDE MIRRORS w/MIRRORS that have turn signals on them? I too own an 02 TB and I currently have the regular mirrors, but I want to upgrade them with the side mirror signals too. Are you saying that you changed them yourself? If so, how hard was the task? I spoke to the dealership about it awhile back and they gave me some speech about how I would need a new wiring hardness to do the upgrade. Is that true?
FYI bro. As for your headlights... how do they look with them SILVERSTARs? I too changed my current headlights, but I used the HYPER WHITES and man, I have a clean bright blue tint look on mine. It's a sweet look since my TB is blue in color.

Peace!

Re: Turn Signals

Regarding the previous TURN SIGNAL question... disregard. I'm looking at another helpful thread now.

TY!

Yes replaced them but not with the mirrors that have the signals, bought the signal lens for the mirrors. Followed the guide in the post you are most likely looking at. Well worth the time for the little cost.

I like the silver stars, nice clean white light (white TB)

You have probably already seen or are using this guide, but there is a good one at: http://envoystuff.com/index.php?showtopic=5 .

I see that some of the people have found it, so this link is for those who still need a guide.
