Talking 26" Rims

My girlfriends brother is planning on buying 26" rims for his 2004 Ram. My question is, will they fit ? I have a feeling that might be a little too big but he says they will fit fine.

Thanks in advance.

Re: 26

i think its a really stupid i dea to put big huge 26's on a nice ram, rams r for haulin n muddin, if u wanna pimp a dodge get a frikin dakota or sumthin but pleez pleez pleez dont ruin the ram!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but besides that i dont think they will fit, cuz i saw 24's on a ram of the same n they jus barely fit!

For the record I don't think they will fit. Also if he insists on putting oversized rims on his truck you need to tell him he needs to upgrade his rotors and calipars. The larger the rim the more rotating weight there is therefore it is harder to stop the wheel from spining. In short he will not be able to keep a stock set of brake pads on his truck for very long at all.

Yeah...I made sure he knew even if he didn't go quite that big, he'd still have to do a brake upgrade. I wouldn't go muddin in a brand new Ram either...thats retarted. Why pay all that money only to get it scratched and rusted!
