harmonic balancer

am having a big problem trying to remove my old harmonic balancer off of a 92 pontiac bonniville its bent and eating up my belt but i can't not remove it i even tried the removal kit and the scews don't fit i have use a hammer i just don't know what to do now can anyone help???

Did you get the center bolt out of the balancer? If so you may need to go to the parts store or rental place and rent a large jaw type puller. Position the jaws on the back side of the harmonic balancer with the center at the bolt hole. It should remove the balancer. If the outside pulls off that is ok since you are replacing it anyway. Adjust the puller and remove the remainder. This is probably the only way to get it off.
