service engine light??
wats up guys... i have a 95 buick regal custom with a 3.1L engine.. it was my moms and well she gave it to me because she bought a new
car. we have had this car for almost 9 years.... the car runs fine.. its crazy the service engine light comes on but only after you hit 50 mph?? any suggestions on why this might be happening?? thanks everyone |

Blue,
Run the engine codes. They will tell you what is wrong. I believe 94 was the last year for self-diagnosising systems. You will have to get them read at a gararge. Check with your Auto parts store, maybe they have something to help read codes. Dave |

Autozone and possibly any other automotive part store will scan the car free of charge....
I know for sure on Autozone...Walmart might be doing it now?

88-95 have the Aldl (Assembly Line Diagnostic link)Connector most of the time under the dash to the right of the steering wheel its the 96 + that OBD II (Onboard Diagnostics 2) those you will need a Tech II Scanner
