1997 transport "low coolant" and "oil pressure warning light"
Hey everyone,
Im new to this site. I just recently acquired a 1997 pontiac transport 3.4l v6 and about 7 days ago the "low coolant" light started flashing. I have been keeping a watchful eye on the coolant level in the overflow and the radiator w/ no change it is still full. Also the same day, when idling the "oil pressure warning light" began to flicker(never fully light up and staying on). Now i have talked to a service tech at a local dealer and he says it is the lower intake gasket. The previous owner said he just had that replaced, so i'm wondering if it was done wrong previously. Any advice will be a big help

Re: 1997 transport
"....began to flicker.."
It sounds to me that you have a bad (ground) connections for the sensors. |
