98 WIndstar Interior light stays on

Some time ago, the interior light started staying on in my 98 Windstar. The door ajar indicator was also on. After I started driving, the interior light would go off but the Door Ajar indicator stayed on. When this happened, my rear wiper wouldn't work. I would open and close doors & eventually the Door Ajar indicator & interior light would go off. The rear wiper would also work again.

This situation would occur over again & the door slamming eventually stopped working. So I got the idea from a forum to spray my door latches with WD-40. This seems to work as far as the Interior Light and Door Ajar indicator going off, but my Rear Wiper still doesn't work. Also noticed my rear window on the driver side has stopped working.

Could this be a fuse problem?. Please advise how I can nail this down.
