Re: Are The Convertable Gt's Slower Than Hardtop?

Yes the Convertibles are slightly slower than the Hardtops (Coupes) because they are like 100lbs heavier.

Getting a Hardtop Cover wouldn't help much unless you took out the entire convertible system (including the Motor/wires and the 25lb weight on the front bumper)

What's the point?

Why spend the money on this when you can spend it on engine mods? When you think about it, it's only 0.1 more in the 1/4.

1 i diddnt know it was only .1 slower
and 2 im more fond of 0-60 times... not many chances you will actally go that 1/4 and get arrested and your car impounded. ill stick to burning people off the line if i want a 1/4 ill go to a track.

no harm done or meant thats just how i see it. i like my car. im not rich. i want to keep it. and yes allmost all my money is put into the engine.. im not a fool.

if i mistyped bare with me... belive it or not 12:30 last night i got stabbed in the forearm 3.6 inches deep.

love, peace, chicken grease
