rear main seal

are these cars know for rear main seals cause i have one bad oil leak like 5qrts a day and i can't figure out where its comming from i checked the head gasket the valve cover and the oil sending unit and tho all are wet it doesnt seem to be comming from them. it just kind of trickles down the back of the block. it's a 1.8l 92 eclipse which i plan on swapping soon but i have to drive it for a week and im kind of afriad it might blow up. the weirdest thing is that my oil pressure which was always low before is now quite high neone know whats going on. thnaks for any help u can offer
