Smile New S13 SR20

Hey, I'v finally got my S13 240sx. It is a very fun car so far.
Hopefully soon I will post so Pictures or maybe make a car domain page. The Sr20DET is an incredable engine, but I have 1 Question. I know the Stock turbo is a Garrett T25. My question is when should the engine start boosting? Mine does not build pressure until around 4000rpm. I know the T25 is a smaller turbo, I think it should boost a little faster.
Anyone have any ideas on whats going on?? Im running a Profec B boost cont. and an Apexi SAFC. My friend and I tried to tune the Boost cont. and anything we changed seemed to make no change. We even tried bypassing the Boost Cont. and still the 4000rpm boost. Could it be something with the SAFC or a boost leak.
Thank you for any feedback
Lee

In what gear? I know I could get 7lbs at 3000RPM but I might have had it lower.

if it was a boost leak it would be more than slow spool... perharps your turbo is on the way out? or Perhaps you got some wackass 2.0mm Head Gasket?

could just be lack of natural compression in the engine. try a compression test to see.
