Exclamation Any Transmission experts? Shifting Problems, Any ideas?

Hello, I have an 85 Chevy Silverado C10 4x4. My troubles are that it shifts hard between 1st to 2nd and at high RPM's. At times if I drive slow it shifts a little easier. Any ideas what it is or how it can be fixed? Regards, AC

usually when a transmission starts shifting hard the clutches are going bad... my bet is that you need to have it rebuilt and have new clutches put in... but i could be wrong... check ur fluid level

Thank you for your reply. I sold the vehicle today. Bought it on ebay for $610, sold it for $1600. Less worries for me, more worries for the next person. Thank you.
