Tein Springs
I have been looking around as some springs and the Tein springs seem relativley cheap compared to others. How do they ride? Thanks for the help.

I've heard that they are some of the best. But I've also heard that they are over priced. I myself am still trying to decide between OMNI Power Coilovers and Teins. But I'll probably end up going with the OMNI's just because of all the recommendations.

Wait a minute, sorry about my last post. You were obviously talking about the Tein lowering springs right? Not the coilover's. I just noticed that you said that they were cheap. But if you look at the complete coilover setup (which in my opinion is better to just go ahead and save up for because if you just change your springs you'll most likely have to also change your shocks, ect.) then you'll see that just the entry level Tein's are around $750. Some go for more than $1000 for the racing one's.

Thanks for the info the only reason i am not getting the whole coilover set is i just don;t have the money buti want to lower the car a little becaseu i plan on getting a CF lip and side skirts. It would look stupid at stock ride hieight i think. However if you know of any other good springs please let me know. Thanks

Tein SS = GREAT I never had a problem nor has anyone I know. Good ride quality, adjustable in many ways. Dont go cheap on suspension.

I've heard that Eibach spring's are pretty good also. Try looking on ebay and you should find them for a reasonable price. Or if you live next to a big city like Los Angeles like I do then you can just check a local shop. The store I go through is usually alot cheaper than even ebay. Plus it's safer and you don't have to pay shipping. But like stated previously,"don't go cheap on suspension". I know I've learned. I bought some adjustable coilover sleeves and dropped my GSR about 2 inches. It almost instantly blew out my OEM shocks. Now I figure instead of paying over $200 for some shocks I'll just invest in some good complete coilover's. I messed up once so now I'm not going to take any short cuts. Hopefully you don't have to learn that the hard way like I did. My ride quality is worse than a 1956 Ford truck.

I used the Eibach sportlines when I dropped my car. No complaints. Now the ride is a little bouncy b/c the shocks went out after 5 months of having it dropped and living in a hole infested city. I wish I would have saved up for the Tein SS. Maybe Tein is over priced, but its JDM. Again Eibach is great, but it prolly wont look so hot now that I've take off that ricer kit and decided to dedicated the Prelude back to its complete true BB2/4 form.

u can prob get ahold of the set on ebay for 170$ i think i saw last time i checked. these springs are soft tough so theyll ride great but will only improve ur handling so much so dont expect too much performance out of them other than a small increase.

if you want a good place to go got to ecperformance.net. they have great prices on coilovers and springs... Coilovers i think are liek 100 bucks. By far are the best riding coilovers i have ever used.. Also they have tein. You can call them for pricing but the last time i think they were priced for a member of the club it was around $120 for the complete set of tein ss

Thnx for the helps guys, however what would be a good shock to go with the springs or would it be better to just save for the basic coilover set?

i have the tokico illumina adjustable shocks and springs set. it rides smooth if the shocks are not set on all the way stiff and it handles well. i think it costs about $430 on ebay plus shipping. ive also heard the eibach springs w/ koni yellow shocks are a good setup as well but if you can, save up for the coilovers. they give the best ride.
