Exclamation Low Coolant Light Question???

This just started happening about 1 week ago. The light blinks every 3-5 seconds. It says Low Coolant. So i looked in the manual and it says that it's just telling you to check the coolant in the radiator.

Well I did and the coolant level is perfect. The guy at autozone told me it's probably just the sensor in the radiator that is bad....any ideas??

low coolant light

I have the similar issue with my 2000 grand prix. first started last winter. would only come on when I was cruising on highway, not around town and it stays on (doesn't blink) Since summer came, it doesn't happen. I tried putting heater on and it happened again. So it only happens when heater is on and I am cruising on highway. Coolant level is fine, so doesn't appear to be leak. any help appreciated.
