WTF!! kinda night at the track.

Gotta love when your at the track hooking up great and you get your slip back and all you can really say is WTF!!!!

Had SCO (sport compact only, for those that dont get this beauty of a cluster fuck in your area) night tonight and people that should have been running high 14's where getting high 15's. A guy running I VW that is one of those straight laced consistent guys can run mid 12's all day was getting handed slips for high 13's.

My only bitch was that my first run of the night I had a reaction time of .447 and hit a 16.7 1/4 and on my second run of the night I hooked up a reaction of .044 with a 1000 foot time of 12.9 and ended the run with a 16.7 again.

Needless to say everyones slips where messed up all night and the guys running the track said "everything is running 5 by 5 perfect tonight". My ass.

Sorry for the rant gang.

Re: WTF!! kinda night at the track.

Down here its .000 is perfect. As for bite, nope, had it all night. Cant speak for anyone else but I had no wheel hop at all and no slip on the launch. Talked to a friend today though that works for the track and he said the times where all like .9 off. So that explains alot. Would have been nice if any of the SCO bigwigs would have owned up and said that the first time then we could have all adjusted our times as needed and not rolled around the whole night all pissed off.

Re: WTF!! kinda night at the track.

The RT has nothing to do with your ET. You could sit there and not move for 5 hours and still blast off a 16 whatever or 15 whatever (whatever your car is able to run)

Did you run hat 16.2 before all the bodykit stuff and rims?

Re: WTF!! kinda night at the track.

I ran my 16.2 with the full kit as well as the hood with slighty heavier then steely 14' rims bone stock engine wise and in ass melting heat.

Tonight I had the same setup ext. wise but with heavier 17's that may be heavier but I have yet to have any wheel hop or traction issuse at the launch so what I lose in weight factor I make up for in my launch and traction. Also I have done shift plus, intake and 62mm tb.
