Motor Swap

I plan on putting a better motor into my 90 honda civic. I have a f22a6 and a b18a1. I only have the blocks for each and I don't know which one to go with. I understand it would be easier to do the b18a1 but is the f22a6 faster and does it have more performance parts? Can I use the tranny off of the d15b2 for the b18a1? Do you have to cut for the f22? What all would I have to get to put the motor in? Thanks.

Re: Motor Swap

Go with the B, the F would be way too much trouble... And not worth it...

As for the tranny, no your stock one will not work on a B series engine, you can use any B series cable tranny...

Youll also need B series engine mounts, axles, and more...
