I'm not seeing any other threads about this in here?

Anyways, at about &:00 this morning, before work. I was unpleasnatly awoken by a violent shaking, thinking it was either,

a. The train behind my house
b. A 10 second bed-shaking muscle spasm
c. A dream about me in b.

Turns out, just norht of Plattsburgh New York, a 5.5 Magnitude Earthquake occured. Only dmaged reported was a few broken windows and fallen bricks.

It was actually pretty cool!

but im all the way in mass, so it wasnt so strong here.

According to my sources, it was only a 5.1, and it was followed by a couple smaller mid-2 range aftershocks in the half hour that followed. My buddy in Richmond Vermont felt it, and was awokened by it. I think I was too far from the epicenter, and I happened to be in a deep sleep during quake time. But there are reports of people having felt the quake as far south as Maryland, and north up in Toronto.

I hate bloody earthquakes...they scare the crap out of me.
I'm glad i've never had to go though a big one yet

i wouldn't have felt a thing seeing how i live on the South Shore region of Massachusetts..it's all gravy though i like my sleep
